Issy Boo Cakes is a registered and insured business. We are currently awaiting our food hygiene rating (due to COVID19, home inspections are taking longer than usual). Guidance and advice has been received by Cardiff council to ensure we are meeting all the requirement to run as smoothly as possible.  Please read our terms and conditions below before placing your order. By paying your deposit you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Payment

To secure your cake order, a deposit is be made; 20% for celebration cakes, 50% for weddings bookings, once your invoice has been emailed and you are happy to proceed with the order.

Refunds & cancellations

If you wish to change the date of your order, please let us know as soon as possible to ensure the new date requested is available. If you wish to cancel your order completely, you must allow 3 working days. Your deposit will be lost, if a cancellation requests are made within the 3 day window as ingredients will have already been purchased.

Collection & transportation

We kindly ask you to collect your order from the address provided in your email correspondence. Once goods have been collected we are not liable for any damage to your bake once it has left our premises. 

When transporting your cakes and other goodies home:​

1. Transport the cakes & bakes flat. The passenger footwell is the best location.  Please not put in the passenger seat or on a lap! 

2. Put your air conditioning on if hot and sunny outside, especially in the summer months.

3. Please drive carefully & slowly, make sure to go slowly over speed bumps and dodge the potholes.

Design/alterations
If you wish to make any alterations or add-ons to your bake, please let us know asap to ensure we can accommodate.

 Non edible items
Most decoration on top of your bakes are non-edible. It is your responsibility to make sure that these are removed before cutting the cake. If your cakes includes fresh flowers, these are wrapped before going into the cake to ensure your cake stays food safe. Any non-edible decorations will be listed on the cake ingredient allergen sticker, which is placed on the front of your cake box, in clear view.

Allergens & dietary requirements
Please ensure when ordering, all allergens are declared. Vegan baking is done on separate days to avoid cross contamination. As a vegan myself, I are very aware of cross contamination and we use separate utensils for our vegan bakes.

Shelf life
Cakes must be consumed within 3 days of cutting. Cake left overs can be frozen for up to 3 months.
